New Puppy

We finally got a dog, well rather a puppy. She is a 6 month old Cairn Terrier and we named her Meghan. Our 2 cats (Smokey and Skeeter) are still wondering what the heck we brought into the house this time. Once in a while they will venture out of the bedroom to see what is going on. As soon as they catch sight of Meghan, they are on alert. Meghan is getting better about not wanting to play with them, but sometimes she just can't stand it and runs after them. She is usually greeted with a hiss and a growl, but that doesn't stop her. NO, not Meghan. She is very determined once her mind is set. Oh my, what did we get ourselves into???

Your Child is hurting

How I would love to take away the hurt my children feel. My oldest has been desperately trying to find a job for weeks now and hasn't had any luck. He is getting so discouraged. I wish I could just reach out and take the hurt and rejection he is feeling away. But for now I can offer the best thing in the world.... LOVE

Still Grieving

I lost my Father in Law to cancer on May 13th and my Dad was called to heaven on June 27th after battling COPD for many years. How could he take 2 of the most important men in my life within one month? He must have plans for them.
